THE VENUE
JMP 2023 will take place at the Centre International de Conference de Bamako – CICB which is located, by road, 5 minutes away from the city centre and 30 minutes away from the international airport.
The CICB was recently renovated and is Bamako’s leading international conference centre. It is in the administrative area of Bamako near to Mali government buildings and the Hotel Salam.
The venue possesses a main hall with about 1000 pax seating capacity and several other rooms with varying capacity.

How do I get to Bamako?
International airlines that fly to Bamako include: Air France, Royal Air Maroc, Kenyan Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Tunisair, Air Algerie, Air Burkina, Asky, Aigle Azur, Mauritania Airlines and Air Ivoire.
Your arrival in Bamako: Airport transfers
As a participant airport pick up on arrival and drop off on your return journey is included in your delegate package. However in order for us to do this, please can you inform us of your arrival / departure time and flight numbers.
Please also inform us of where you are staying so that we can take you to your hotel directly. If we do not receive this information then we cannot guarantee your collection at the airport.
Shuttle bus service
We will be providing a shuttle bus service during the event to take you to the Centre International de Conférence de Bamako and any other activities that are connected with the event. Please check your hotel for the latest timetable information when you arrive.

How do I get a Malian visa?
Visas are required for travel to Mali by citizens of all countries EXCEPT nationals of ECOWAS member countries as well as citizens of Algeria, Cameroon, Andorra, Monaco, Chad, Morocco and Mauritania.
You must obtain a visa to Mali before you travel
To obtain a visa for Mali, you need to determine if there is a Malian Embassy or Consulate in the country where you reside. If there is a Malian representation in your country, then you should apply for a visa there. It takes about five working days for your visa to be processed. Please do not go or send your application to the embassy or consulate before you have received your invitation letter from the organisers.
In order to obtain your visa, you would normally be required to send the following documents to your Malian embassy or consulate:
- A valid Passport (ie with a validity of more than six months)
- Two (2) recent passport size ID photographs
- Two (2) completed application forms ( to be obtained from the Embassy / Consulate)
- A copy of the invitation letter sent by the event organisers
- The appropriate fee ranging from 28 euros in France to US$100 in the United States
